What the seal proves

Updated 7 July 2026

When an agreement is complete, Signet seals it. The seal proves two things:

  • Integrity. The document hasn't changed since it was sealed. If a figure or a word were altered afterwards, the seal no longer matches and it's flagged.
  • Origin. The certificate genuinely came from Signet, and not from someone forging one.

It isn't a record you have to take on trust. Anyone can check it independently, in their own browser, even if Signet is offline.
