These terms are between you and Senso Ventures Limited ("Signet", "we", "us") and govern your use of the Signet service. By creating an account or using Signet, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to do so.
The service
Signet lets you create agreements from designed templates, send them as secure links, collect electronic signatures, seal completed documents with a verifiable certificate, and keep a tamper-evident audit trail. Features vary by plan.
Your account
- Keep your login details secure and take responsibility for activity under your account.
- Give accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for the people you invite to your workspace and the roles you give them.
Your content
You keep all rights in the documents, templates, branding and other content you put into Signet. You grant us only the limited licence needed to host, render, send, seal and deliver your agreements, and to provide the service to you. You are responsible for the content of your agreements and for having the right to send them.
Signers and no-login signing
Signet delivers agreements as secure links, and a signer does not need an account. As a sender, you are responsible for sending links to the right people and for the accuracy of what you ask them to sign. A signing link is sensitive; treat it like a password.
Electronic signatures
Signet supports electronic signatures aligned with the EU eIDAS regulation and the US ESIGN Act and UETA, under which a valid electronic signature can carry the same legal effect as a handwritten one. Signet provides the tools and the evidence (consent, timestamps, IP, and a tamper-evident trail). It does not provide legal advice, and whether a particular agreement is enforceable depends on your circumstances and law. Seek your own advice if you are unsure.
Acceptable use
You must use Signet lawfully and follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or limit access to protect the service or other users, or where use breaches these terms.
Plans, billing and beta
Signet is in private beta. Paid features and pricing are described in the app. Where billing is enabled, paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider, and you can manage or cancel from Settings, Plan and billing. During the beta, some paid features may be available at no charge, and we will give notice before charging begins. The free plan will always include the seal, the audit trail and public verification.
Availability
We work to keep Signet available and reliable, but during beta it is provided as is, without an uptime commitment. One deliberate design choice protects you here: a sealed agreement can be verified independently, in any browser, even if Signet is offline.
Intellectual property
Signet, its software, design and brand are owned by Senso Ventures Limited and its licensors. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you beyond the right to use the service.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Signet is provided without warranties, and our liability to you is limited. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Because Signet may be used for important agreements, you are responsible for keeping your own copies of completed documents and certificates, which we make available to download.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Signet and delete your workspace at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or to protect the service. Completed agreements remain verifiable through their sealed certificates regardless.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Signet after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless your local law gives you rights that must apply.
