How to verify a sealed agreement

Updated 7 July 2026

Every completed agreement comes with a certificate file. To check it:

  • Go to the verify page.
  • Drop the certificate file onto it, or choose it from your device.

Your browser recomputes the document's fingerprint and checks the seal. You'll see one of three results: Authentic (genuine and unchanged), Altered (a real certificate, but the document was changed), or Not genuine (the certificate was forged).

Nothing is uploaded. The whole check happens on your device, so it works even if Signet is offline.
