"Altered" means the certificate is genuine, but the document you're checking isn't identical to the one that was sealed, even a one-character change will do it.
Make sure you're verifying the exact sealed PDF Signet produced, not a re-saved, re-exported or edited copy. Re-download the original from the agreement or the completion email and check that. If it still shows as altered, email [email protected].
