Once an agreement is sent, its document is locked so it can't change underneath a signer. That's deliberate: it's part of what makes the record trustworthy.
To fix a detail, the sender voids the agreement and sends a corrected one. If you're the signer, let the sender know what's wrong. If you're the sender, open the agreement, void it, and start a fresh one from your template.
