Private beta draft. Signet is in private beta. This document is accurate to how the product works today, but it has not yet had formal legal review and may change before general release. We will tell you before anything material changes. Questions? Email [email protected].
Signet is built for people sending their own genuine agreements. To keep it safe and trustworthy for everyone, you agree not to use it for the following. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
Do not use Signet to
- Break the law, or send agreements you have no right to send.
- Impersonate someone else, or send documents in a way designed to deceive a signer about who they are dealing with or what they are signing.
- Send spam, or send signing links to people who have not agreed to hear from you.
- Upload or send malware, or attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the service or its security.
- Handle content that is fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise harmful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Try to forge, tamper with or misrepresent a seal, certificate or audit trail.
- Resell or provide the service to others except as your plan allows.
Signing links
A signing link lets someone sign an agreement. Send links only to the intended signer, and do not encourage anyone to forward them. Treat a link like a password.
Enforcement
If we believe use breaches this policy, we may remove content, suspend or limit access, or close an account, and we will act proportionately. Completed agreements remain verifiable through their sealed certificates regardless. To report abuse, email [email protected].
